This diverse lineup of 134 lots includes Sadegh Tabrizi (1938-2017), known for his evocative paintings exploring themes of identity and memory, with a notable piece from 2009 (Lot 313) estimated at $5,000 to $10,000. Parviz Kalantari (1931-2016) offers Shirin (Lot 314), a work that reflects his deep connection to Persian culture and mythology, estimated at $2,000 to $4,000. Mohammad Ali Taraghijah (1943-2010), celebrated for his unique approach to color and form, is represented by a painting (Lot 320) estimated at $5,000 to $10,000. The Encyclopaedia Iranica Foundation was established in 1990 with the mission to guarantee the Encyclopaedia Iranica’s intellectual independence and ensure its ongoing publication both in digital and print versions.
