ĀDAMĪ, ABŪ SAʿĪD SAHL B. ZĪĀD RĀZĪ, late 3rd/9th century Shiʿite traditionist. He was considered to have been a companion of the ninth, tenth, and eleventh imams by Shaikh Moḥammad b. Ḥasan Ṭūsī (d. 406/1015-16; in his al-Reǰāl, Naǰaf, 1381/1961-62, pp. 401, 416, 43l). He authored two books: a Ketāb al-tawḥīd and Ketāb al-nawāder.
